Why Do People Twitch In Their Sleep?

Have you ever dreamt that you were falling in your sleep and your entire body shook? Yes, you probably did. Actually, what many people don’t know, is that it’s a normal condition called twitching or hypnic jerks. According to science, over 60% of people twitch when they are falling asleep. They explain that it’s common, yet could be the result of several factors. So, why do people twitch in their sleep? Let’s find out.

What Happens To Your Body When You Are Falling Asleep?

This natural phenomenon is explained through science by being an unconscious response to reality. In fact, it usually occurs between wakefulness and sleep, that’s why it’s called Hypnagogic jerks, in reference to hypnagogic state. Moreover, in most cases, twitching goes unremembered especially if it doesn’t wake you up. However, why do we feel it? Well, several theories explain that the muscle spasms can happen naturally, or can be ”induced by sound, light or other external stimuli”.

Twitching Could Mean Several Things

Furthermore, twitching can be just a response from your nerves when you transition to deep sleep state. However, it can also be related to factors such as anxiety, fatigue, depression or even sleep deprivation. So, according to experts, if you frequently experience hypnic jerks, you may need to pay attention to what you could change about your daily habits.

So, Is It Dangerous?

The big question remains: Is twitching a dangerous thing? Well, usually there is nothing to worry about besides discomfort. However, if you witness that it happens very often, you should consider reducing your physical activity. Research showed that people who changed their physical activity, experienced less hyping jerks. Despite what people say about the possibility of dying due to twitching, it is highly unlikely that you do actually ”die from the fall”, since your muscles’ reflex is faster when your are reaching the deep sleep phase.

Why Do People Say That 5G Is Bad For You?

you must have heard people say that 5G is bad for you, at least a few times. Especially that many conspiracy theories regarding Covid-19, contributed in spreading the idea. Furthermore, there exists many more theories about why 5G will be the end of ”human life” and privacy as we know them today. In fact, some researchers argue that 5G will allow replacing humans with robots, who will be connected to a network, aiming to monitor people up close. However, in the absence of solid scientific confirmation, let’s see what the big fuss about 5G is really about.

What Does 5G Do Exactly?

First of all, if you are not familiar with this term, you probably won’t pay much attention to what people say about it. However, we can all agree that this ”general knowledge” could be crucial in the future.

5G is the fifth generation of wireless communication technologies and devices, the Internet that uses devices such as your mobile phone to allow connection to the network anywhere. Therefore, you do not have to think of this term as something new, as it is still a development or evolution of the current 4G / LTE. In addition, you can connect all your devices to the same network. (This includes cameras, security alarms, electronic cars, home electronics…etc.)

Is It Partially Responsible For The Spread Of Coronavirus?

Several allegations connected 5G to being the main cause of the Coronavirus crisis. A doctor named Thomas Cowan explained at a conference, that the COVID-19 pandemic is caused by 5G. He even suggested that every major epidemic in history had been caused by a “quantum” leap in the electrification of Earth. In fact, he disclosed that governments aim at planting microchips through vaccines, in order to have a wider control and surveillance over the population. However, both the World Health organization and scientists in the field denied the theory, and assured that the novel Coronavirus is a 100% natural virus.

So, Why Do People Say It’s Bad For You?

Despite having no research-backed up grounds, many people say that 5G is bad for you. Although having sufficient connection to connect all your devices in one network sounds amazing, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, this much power and connectivity can affect the course of natural resources. Yet, one of the main concerns about 5G, is the fact that connecting everything through one network, is an absurd invasion of privacy. Basically, you are giving effortless access to hackers and secret services, and they will be able to gather everything about you in the matter of seconds. So, in conclusion, 5G may not have proven side-effects on your health yet, but it can be harmful to you on the long-term.

In fact, this is not the first time they interfere through their ”hacktivism.” They have been present for a while, taking the defense of those suffering of political agendas and injustice. So, in addition to their recent ”virtual artwork”, here are 6 times Anonymous left us speechless.

The involvement of the active online-activist group made their first headline sin 2009. The attack targeted the Australian government. Furthermore, Anonymous were able to service attack to take the Prime Minister’s website offline for about an hour. The reason? he had announced he will be censoring certain adult content on the Internet, while encouraging others.

Did NASA Just Find A Parallel Universe Where Time Runs Backwards?

Nature really doesn’t cease to amaze us! The scientific community has been revolutionized a few days ago, with what might just be the discovery of the century. Several reports discussed that NASA found a parallel universe where time runs backwards. Yes, as astonishing as it seems, this could completely change everything we know about the universe, physics, and time. So, what’s the full story behind this new discovery?

The Study Started In 2016

The origin of all this dates back to a 2016 study, signed by Peter Gorham of the University of Hawaii. In fact, the research was sponsored by NASA-funded ANITA. Moreover, this research led scientists to discover subatomic particles (neutrinos), whose direction was the opposite of what it should be.

Did They Really Find A Parallel Universe?

Although everyone is freaking out with headlines, don’t get too excited. NASA have cleared themselves, and assured that ”at no moment was there talk of a possible “parallel universe.” In fact, it was something that various media outlets misunderstood and magnified. What is certain though, is that a new type of particle could have been discovered that could revolutionize the way we understood physics.

However, there is still no definitive explanation for this phenomenon, which is clearly magnificent. Furthermore, it is a behavior never seen before. so, and in the words of one of the study authors, “It was as if the cosmic ray had come out of the ice itself.” So, for now, there is no parallel universe where time runs backwards.

The Truth Behind The New Discovery

The scientific community has set out to find a logical and reasonable explanation for this strange phenomenon. And, at the moment, the most reasonable is that it is a distortion in the measurements caused by the ice of Antarctica.

Furthermore, those responsible for the study have not suggested at any time is that their discovery implies the existence of a parallel universe. And even less of one where time goes in the opposite direction. That, for the moment, is nothing more than an idea for a science-fiction movie.
