9. Vevey, Switzerland
This city usually goes unnoticed with all the attention on Montreux. Vevey has its own magic touch, especially this year, as the Fête des Vignerons is taking place. This vinegrower festival is only celebrated once every 20 years, so it’s the perfect time to go!
Another plus, is the fact that it is relatively cheap because it is not very touristy like other places in Switzerland. You’ll also make sure it won’t be too crowded, if you like to enjoy your quiet and peace from time to time.
You’ll also be able to finally visit the giant fork in the Swiss lake!
