A self-sufficient capsule<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A solar capsule<\/strong> is Nice Architects<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 newest invention. They have described it as a \u201cself-sustainable microhome<\/strong>\u201d. In other words, it is a tiny, movable home<\/a><\/strong> that works with solar energy.<\/strong> The product is self-sufficient, practical and functional.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Capsule\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The capsule has various uses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On their webpage<\/a>, they claim the capsule has many different uses: it can serve as a cottage, a caravan, a mobile office<\/strong>, and even as a pop-up hotel.<\/strong> What\u2019s interesting about it, as its name implies, is that it’s an opportunity for an eco lifestyle<\/strong>. It can obtain both solar and water resources from its environment<\/strong>, allowing it to be placed anywhere<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Home\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It provides independence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This innovative home allows you to live completely disconnected<\/strong> from the “real world”<\/strong>, meaning it can be placed literally anywhere<\/strong>. But if you\u2019re not one to live in the loneliness of nature<\/strong>, the invention can still be suitable for you. The capsule has been specifically designed for two people, <\/strong>but of course, you could also live there on your own.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A two-people place<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although the inside of the capsule is very compact<\/strong> and consists of just 21 squared meters<\/strong>, it feels very<\/strong> spacious<\/strong> when standing inside. It includes every single thing two people might need, from a bathroom<\/strong> (which includes a shower), to a small kitchen<\/strong>, and even an unfoldable sofa<\/strong>. And although we mentioned you don\u2019t have to live connected to the rest of the world, the capsule does have electric connections.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s app-controlled<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s perhaps most mind-blowing is that you control the capsule through an app<\/strong> installed in your smartphone. The tiny home is made out of glass fibers<\/strong> and has solar panels on the roof.<\/strong> To \u201cfeed\u201d the capsule, it has a battery of 10kWh, <\/strong>which can last up to 4 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"House\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Ecocapsule<\/strong> has a protective barrier<\/strong> made from aluminium<\/strong>, as well as 4 wheels for transportation.<\/strong>\u00a0 It has, in addition, two hooks on the top<\/strong> in case of other types of transportation like a helicopter or a crane.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecocapsules are now available<\/a> for a price of 79.000\u20ac<\/strong>, but there are just 50 available for now. <\/strong>However, a second edition<\/strong> will be coming out, which will have a more affordable price <\/strong>as it will be mass-produced<\/strong>, for which you can now pre-order<\/strong>. You can even place bulk orders<\/strong>, for which you will receive a custom made prices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
